Powerful Mr. W. Smith

The man is tall and muscular, but that is not why Newsweek decided that he is “the most powerful actor on the planet.” Will Smith is a household name the world over, and to most of us the mention of his name brings a smile to our faces. Best known as a comedian, Will Smith is a talented actor and singer – rapping having been a sphere that he has made a major mark, second only to his acting accomplishments. Smith is no stranger to the Golden Globe nor Academy Awards nominations, and he has also won multiple Grammys.

There is no question that with a glorious acting history reaching back into the 80s, Smith, only 40 years old in 2008, still has an amazing future ahead of him. Indeed, Will Smith is only one of the three actors in the history of film to have 7 consecutive USD100 million blockbusters. (Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks are the other two.)
